Since its introduction in 1877, the Capitaine Cook tinned fish brand has always taken pride in upholding authentic and traditional values. Heir to a history of seafaring and culinary delights, its brand image found itself declining. In 2003, the brand therefore decided to reposition itself with the promise: ‘based on recipes with a unique taste since 1877’, extending its values to recipe skills in addition to culinary pleasures and travel ie. exploration and discovery. The new positioning required reworking the brand’s graphic identity, mindful of the brand’s history and of its values. Packs have been available throughout stores since June 2004.
